Role: Content Developer

Location: Newcastle

Palringo is an established and successful chat and social application created in Newcastle. We are going through a period of growth, and are looking for an engineer to join our Content Team.

As part of a small company, your role will encompass the entire software development life-cycle, including requirements capture, prototyping, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.

The role includes support, maintenance and monitoring of existing content services. There will be plenty of opportunities to research and develop solutions using new technologies, languages and design patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, create and maintain Content services
  • Produce services that extend our Bot framework and SDK
  • Participate in architectural and design discussion around Content
  • Participate in daily scrums, and backlog refinements

Required skills and experience:

  • NodeJS and NPM

Required skills and experience:

  • Have a strong background in Objective-C and Swift
  • In depth knowledge of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc
