C++ Generalist (Client) Developer - N004

Your responsibilities will be to develop and maintain features of our mobile Vocal Instant Messaging client, which is receiving widespread international usage. You will be expected to work on cross-platform parts of our code, which will compile on multiple desktop and embedded platforms including the Windows, Windows Mobile, Max OS X, and Symbian operating systems. You will be knowledgeable, enthusiastic about technology and your work, eager to learn, hard-working and capable of working both individually and within a start-up team structure.

  • You will be expected to have excellent familiarity with the C++ programming language
  • Possess the ability to write well-structured, efficient, cross-platform and maintaable, Object-Oriented code
  • Familiarity with the STL library
  • Prior experience Developing for embedded platforms such as mobile devices - will be seen as a strong advantage

J2ME Developer - N001

Your responsibilities will be to develop and maintain features of our mobile Vocal Instant Messaging client, which is receiving widespread international usage. You will be expected to work on the J2ME version of our application, which needs to run on a wide variety of J2ME compliant mobile phones.

  • Excellent familiarity with the Java/J2ME programming language.
  • The ability to write well-structured, efficient, cross-platform, and maintainable object-oriented code.
  • You will be familiar with common object oriented design patterns.
  • Familiarity with developing for embedded platforms such as mobile devices will be seen as a strong plus.

C++ Generalist (Server) Developer - I002

Your responsibilities will be to develop and maintain server-side functionality for our mobile Vocal Instant Messaging client, (which is receiving widespread international usage). You will be expected to work primarily on development of functionality for our Linux-based servers. This will include creating and maintaining code for bridging to 3rd party services. You will be knowledgeable, enthusiastic about technology and your work, eager to learn, hard-working and be capable of working both individually and within a start-up team structure.

  • You will be expected to have excellent familiarity with C++ programming language;
  • Possess the ability to write well-structured, efficient, cross-platform, and maintainable object-oriented code;
  • You will be familiar with common object oriented design patterns;
  • Familiarity with the STL library;
  • 1-2 years commercial development experience;
  • Desired: Prior experience developing for client/server internet applications will be seen as a strong plus.
